Independent Living for Seniors
Founded by the Concord Female Charitable Society in 1887, Timothy Wheeler House (TWH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable living to seniors from Concord and surrounding towns looking for maintenance-free living in their local community.
Located in the heart of idyllic Concord, TWH offers easy sidewalk access to downtown shops and restaurants, the library, post office, many churches, and parks. Walden Street is in the heart of Concord providing ample opportunities to participate in town and community events; book and social groups at the library, music, art and education at the Umbrella Arts Center, many town celebrations and parades on Monument Square, or live performance by The Concord Players.
Timothy Wheeler House offers independent style living in a safe and comfortable setting. There are seven bedrooms each with a private bathroom, plus two common rooms, a screened-in porch, and a lush garden providing many locations for relaxing and visiting with other residents, relatives, and friends.
The low monthly resident’s fee includes three meals a day, served in the spacious dining room, 24-hour, non-medical staff, housekeeping, weekly laundry services, and a welcoming community of seniors.
If you or a loved one are looking for a place to retire with independence in a comfortable home setting with access to local activities and community, call or email us with your questions or schedule a time to stop by and visit.
